Our Preliminary Background Investigation is used to as a tool to target possible nanny and sitters who may have a criminal history, making them ineligible to advertise their Nanny services on our site.  The information we seek out cannot be guaranteed. 

As of June 25, 2008, A Nanny Network is conducting Preliminary Background Investigations on every new Nanny and Sitter.

A Nanny Network recommends that Families should check references provided on each nanny or sitter and consider conducting a state criminal background check through each State that person has lived as well as a DMV check.  If you would like to go the extra mile and guarantee that your potential Nanny or Sitter has not been convicted of a crime in WA State, FINGERPRINT VERIFICATION is the only way!
